Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Halloween
Every year from September through December, the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland is “taken over” by the cast of A Nightmare Before Christmas! Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and all the rest turn the Mansion into a haunted winter wonderland you’ll never forget!
The Flavel House
A Queen Anne style Victorian mansion built for Captain George Flavel and his family in Astoria, OR. This historical landmark was also featured in the 1985 film The Goonies.
The Goonies House
Astoria, OR is the setting for the 1985 film The Goonies. This lens leads you on a tour of the various locations used in the film, including the Clatsop County Jail, the Flavel House, and of course the Walsh house, aka The Goonies House!
Joshua Tree National Park
This beautiful national park is located in Southern California. Named for the Joshua trees that populated this desert landscape, it’s great for hiking, camping, and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the desert.
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
The West Coast version of Coney Island, Santa Cruz’s Beach Boardwalk is home to the famous Looff Carousel and the wooden roller coaster The Giant Dipper. It has also been featured in many films, including 1987’s The Lost Boys
Voodoo Doughnuts
An independent doughnut shop located in Portland, OR, Voodoo Doughnuts has been featured on No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain and Man vs Food. Their creation of original, quirky doughnuts include the Bacon Maple Bar and the Wasabi Doughnut.
